i had explored this site a large amount of time and i am tired of people saying (read with an idiot voice) huggg.... equestria is better than earth because the princesess and harmony and peace and (add more reasons here) blah blah blah blah...
and i am like "how is equestria supposed to be better than earth?" how is a society that lacks self-determination superior?, how is a society that depends for its survival and stability on four individuals superior?, how is a stagnated society superior?, how is a society bound to the laws of "harmony" witch dont even allows them to chose their own destiny better?, peace but a what price that of your political freedom how is that better?
and the obious answer is that equestria is not better than earth so for the sake of realism stop comparing equestria to earth because you can't compare a ant to a elephant, you cant compare 135 cities to millions of cities (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiNELP9sEtA) and the last you can't compare one country to two-hundred countries so just acept the facts humans are superior earth even with all its problems is better than equestria and its a fact no one can deny

Maybe i will writte something about 'ponies on earth' , 'humans ruling over ponies' (without the cliché of one side being opressed by the other) and 'freedom vs harmony'.
The idea is simple Equestrian ponies meet the ponies of earth or "terra ponies" it will have the point of view of the "terra ponies" who the more they learn about equestria the more they fear it.

Sorry, I don't think I could make it (out of my area). But don't feel bad, I'm not a writer either, but that didn't stopped me from at least try to make something good. You only improve by writing.
If the day comes when you decide to write it, I recommend you to first have the ending done, so it becomes easier to make, after that, think about what would be the purpose of writing said story, who you want to talk to and what kind of genre you want to make it.
Also, read books, those always help to make stories.
