Sorry! Sorry, I know its been... wow, 50 weeks? But you have to understand a very very important aspect of my person. One that defines me as a sentient being.
I am lazy! And easily distracted.
So with that potential anxiety out of the way. Here's what I've been putting off doing.
* Updated my modding tools to 1.2 as well as implementing Notepad++ in the process. Crash errors are up by 200% as a result!
* Unicorn adepts have had their unique magic attack reduced to a simpler 'sticks and stones' throw, and had their status reduced to levied troops. Joining the skittle brigades.
* Slightly more accurate sprites for some of the pretenders.
* Outlines for the Early Age Nations of Unicornia, Pegalopolis and Earth (or Dirtville, Jury's still out on that) featuring only ponies of their respective tribes. This will enable co-op games, or even alternate history re-enactments of inter-tribal hostilities. Unified equestria is still the main focus of the mod.
* Changeling true-forms now have poison spit instead of mind-blast.
* Changeling queen pretender-chassi retains mind-blast.
* Maded a group for discussions of the mod, the game, and ponies, and ponies in the game and the mod, here. Sorry for the shameless plug.
* Created a whole head-canon'd social structure for the pegasi tribe based on old greek Anemoi myths and gave their units greek names.
* Removed the greek names for pegasi units because the game really hates diacritics and it just looked weird next to the more sensibly named pony units.
* Started writing a short fanfic.
* Debugging debugging debugging debugging debugging...
This looks really good.
I like those sprites.
