    Slight Delay

Quick announcement - the thirteenth tale of Kaidan will be delayed due to some technical problems.

Therefore, on October 27th, I will be releasing both the 13th and 14th tales at once.

    Sorry for the inconvenience :applejackunsure:

Regarding updates · 3:57am Aug 27th, 2016

Due to an unexpected loss of data concerning a Windows update and signing out of my user account, I'm afraid the next chapter of Ambition won't be up for a while; I have to rewrite the entire thing from scratch, so that's a slight bummer. If anyone has a suggestion for how to get my data back, then I'm all ears. Sorry for the inconvenience.

:fluttershysad: Aww. I'm sorry to hear that. I've never had it happen to me (yet), but losing a chapter-in-progress is always something that a writer worries about, especially if it's nearing completion.

I have no idea how to restore a lost chapter if it's truly been deleted from your hard drive; I feel reasonably confident that it's possible, but is probably not worth the time and effort unless you have a friend who's an expert in data restoration or whatever it's called. However... I don't know what writing program you use, but I think Google Drive is a free program that's supposed to let you backup your documents on the cloud in realtime. I don't really use it much since I mostly just write stuff straight into Google docs now anyway, but it's something that can prevent you from losing your chapters in the future.

...At least the next chapter'll be easier to write the second time, right? :twilightsheepish: Looking forward to it.
