Hiatus

Technically speaking, the title is false. I am not taking a hiatus from working but more abandoning all writing projects. It has recently, and I say "recently" a bit loosely, come to my attention that I simply cannot juggle 1000 things in my life and right now I have priorities. Maybe I will get back into writing, maybe I won't. I simply don't know. What I do know is that my programming has priority and as such I am not focusing any efforts on my writing. I hope you are not too disappointed. I enjoy writing, but currently I am more interested in reading and the longer I wait the harder it is to get back into writing. The primary problem I have with Bast's Adventures is that it is set a long time behind from the show, but my plot requires it to be set behind. However, this means that as new episodes come out my story is that much further behind. This means that Bast's Adventures is not going to get much attention because I get upset when thinking about how much I have to cover, considering it loosely follows the show, albeit with modifications to the story.

As for my secret fanfic, which I haven't named, as it does not follow canon at all I don't mind continuing it, but it won't get much attention. I already plan another rewrite of the first chapter to see what else I can do with it and because of this it will be a long time before I even get it edited. Meanwhile, I am working on so many different projects with just programming I simply don't have time to write. On top of that, school started last week for me and so that also has priority. There are so many things I am working on that I'm not sure I will get back into writing.

I will still be very active, maybe I will start blogging on the stories I read. I do still read a lot of fanfics and I sometimes comment on them. I think starting a fanfic blogging series would be a good idea. It wouldn't take up as much time as writing a fanfic and would allow me to practise analysing texts and simply work on something a little fun.
