Maybe I can contribute

Well here I am, I've just been lurking and reading for a while now. It has been so enjoyable, but I felt I have to contribute something. I've been writing a small story, the first one I have ever done. I have the first chapter all written, but I really need someone to look it over. I am sure it is terribly flawed and needs some TLC to get it right. I just wish I knew someone that could help. I am so lost.
