More Pokemon Chinese Rumors? (Analysis) · 8:02pm Aug 17th, 2016
I just found this out on Tumblr! Now that we have a lot more information on Pokemon Sun and Moon from the reveal trailers, if this claim was made in the past, we could be seeing some truth. I'll be going through each of the claims one by one. Oh, and if someone can confirm that these are fake before they're officially confirmed true or false, please let me know and I will change the title.
I am fully aware that these claims could be completely fake due to the sloppy nature of how each is written, but there's always the possibility of the poster just copying off another website and not knowing how to spell. Have faith!
There are actually no gyms
Boom! Right off the bat we have some confirmed amount of information. It is completely true that gym battles, at least for Alola, won't be taking place in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Again, if these rumors were made before the recent trailers, this confirms these claims to about 90% accurate. Still keeping that 10% though since I did do a bit of research and I couldn't find when these rumors were posted.
There is more than one evolution for Rockruff including a werewolf
There was a lot of talk about Rockruff having multiple evolutions like an Eevee of sorts, and the same goes for the starters of the game. And yes! The werewolf is almost confirmed! As most of you know I'm getting Rockruff on my team, so now having a rough idea of what it'll evolve into makes me all the more happy.
Time works differently in each version
This is actually a bit interesting. I have no idea what the claims are implying with this, but I'm curious to see how time will work in each version.
There are new forms of old pokemon which are not mega evolutions these are the pokemon that will get new forms Butterfree (Bug/Psychic), Rattata line (dark) Nidoqueen/Nidoking (poison/fighting) Ninetails (Ice/fairy), Growlithe line (water) ,Abra Line fighting,Doduo Line (fighting/flying)
Okay, now we know that this could be totally true! We've seen the Ice/Fairy-type Ninetales and there have been massive rumors of a Psychic Butterfree, a Dark Raticate, a Fighting Alakazam and many others. And that Water-type Arcanine sounds amazing!
pokemon transferred from the VC releases will have pre gen 6 typing/stats
Okay, this is good to know. The Virtual Console Pokemon games on the 3DS will continue having slightly weaker Pokemon than the newer and slightly better Pokemon of Generation 6. Sorry Nidoking.
the stone bracelets have nothing to do with synchro evolution
Yes, they're used for Z-moves, which look fucking awesome BTW. Here, take a look!
Ash Greninja is in the game
Though Synchro Evolution might not come to pass in Sun and Moon, we're still getting Ash Greninja somewhere in the games. My guess is it'll probably be some kinda event giveaway, because I can see no possible way someone could fit Ash Greninja in the story. Well, of course there COULD be a way, but we'll have to wait and see.

That's a cute little easter egg. 
Larger , but not by much amount of brand new pokemon
Slightly disappointing, but understandable. The 3DS is reaching the end of its life, and as such a bigger and better handheld will have to replace it eventually if it ever hopes to keep up with the now over 800 Pokemon in a single card. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was pushing it with the Dalamadur, and I'm honest to god surprised that X and Y was able to hold together with 72 new Pokemon plus Mega Evolution PLUS all the past 649 previous Pokemon. But yeah, we gotta keep it small if we're gonna outlast the 3DS.
Looker,Cynthia,Blue,Zinnia,AZ and lance all make appearances
YES, YES, AND A THOUSAND TIMES YES!!! Looker is already a recurring character throughout the games, Cynthia (my first bae) is gonna make her rightful return which very well could mean a Sinnoh remake is in the works, Blue will come back after being hinted at in Kalos, Zinnia's gonna get some more character development like she damn-well deserves, AZ will come back probably with his Floette traveling the world in search of whatever, and Lance? Well, do I even have to say anything about him? I have a certain friend on this site who grew up with Generation 2 who will be MOST pleased with the news of his champion returning! So obviously I'll be very happy if these characters all return.
Some of the new forms for the old pokemon get new animations
This is also true! Alolan Marowak is clearly using different animations than the normal Marowak, which could potentially further the legitimacy of these claims. A cute little tidbit, honestly.
Transferring through Bank will be the only way to get some of the forms of the old pokemon
This has been confirmed by GameFreak! Pokemon that get Alolan forms will only be available in Alola and that's it. If you want a regular Ground-type Marowak, you have to trade one in from the Pokemon bank.
There is a flying pokemon that has a different appearance depending on which island you catch it on
Also confirmed! Orocorio is best bird (next to Rowlet)!
There is a snowman like mentioned in the Chinese rumor and it is an Ice/Ghost stage 2
I love snowmen, so this is exciting for me! I wonder what it'll look like.
There is a 2 stage cat pokemon that is normal when captured but will inherit the fathers primary type as it’s second type when hatched and the color/pattern varies by type
Yep, this was also mentioned in a few other leaks beforehand. I'm looking forward to combining all these brand-new types together. Imagine a Normal/Ghost-type, or a Normal/Steel-type, or even a Normal/Rock-type! The possibilities are endless!

A lot of things here are correct and confirmed by GameFreak, but I'm still skeptical about Zinnia and AZ returning. Of course I'm not sad they're returning; I'm actually quite happy two characters that deserve more screen time might be coming back! But what are the chances of GameFreak reusing important story characters from one game that aren't champions or gym leaders? Or even afterstory characters for that matter!
But still I have hope they'll return! Why? Because there are some things still not wrapped up with Zygarde. I'll tell you my full theory in the next blog, but until then this is SuperKamek signing off!
My guess is that in Pokemon Moon there's more night and in Pokemon Sun it's vice versa.
