That episode... I'm kinda down the middle on it.
It was kinda really meta, and I'm a huge fan of that sort of humor. But, it was meta in some of the wrong ways. The way Quibble started bitching about the later books hit too close to home for me to find funny, and all it really did was make me cringe. Quibble was funny for about two minutes, then he just got super obnoxious. Seriously, he just bitched, moaned, and complained the whole time. when he wasn't, he was being a know-it-all smartass.
The pony dakimakura killed me, though, and I couldn't explain to my younger siblings why. So that's a plus.
