I have noticed that the older I get, the more bitter I become. People often say that the most negative people are teens, but I feel like teen me was a bright ray of sunshine, rainbows and love compared to the older, almost thirty, constantly grumpy me that struggles to even see the point of existence.
Weirdly enough, it can actually happen that sort of way, if not as extreme as those examples. Remember a talk show on the BBC once where there was a gay reverend (I think reverend was his title anyway) and was talking about how wrong it was to allow gay marriage. It was weirdly disturbing watching him essentially argue for denial of his own rights. Poor guy must have been seriously beating himself up on the inside.
