Hello everybody! Lilguppy99 here with an update on my story An Angel from the Deep.
So, I mentioned in a previous post that I had an idea for a side plot to my story, but I realized that the side plot would actually make for a great story on its own. Thus, with the new plot, the title will be changed. To what exactly? I don't know. But I will announce it once it has been decided.
To those who are anticipating this, thank you so much for waiting and the support. I know how it feels to be waiting and waiting and WAITING for a new update. The reason for the wait is that I'm lacking a little motivation. You see, when I write a story, I want to keep the audience's interests as well as my own in mind. The thing I'm worried about is the acceptance of a story revolving around an OC which, at first glance, may not seem like an original character.
For those who have been following, the story is based of Disney's The Little Mermaid (my favorite movie of all time and very influential in my childhood). My goal for this story is to let it be reminiscent of the movie while still letting it hold unique and original ideas to keep the audience's interest. I have an outline of the story so far, and I'm very excited to get it in words, but it's always the worry of what people think that keeps me back.
Don't worry, the story will come out eventually. I'll be doing my best to work on it until then. Peace out!
