So. It's been quite awhile. I've missed the deadlines by far that I placed for myself (particularly on I Am His Queen, and I apologize profusely for this one). It's been a hard time here, but I have finally come to a conclusion.
I'm no longer a huuuge fan of MLP like I used to be. Sure, I love the IDEA and CONCEPT, but I love the characters and that's all. How many of my fictions are AU's? Like, almost all of them. So I've decided to finish all of my fanfictions in no particular order. Then, from there, I will only write one fanfiction at a time, which will preferably be short undertakings. Not only that, but I will more than likely scrap some of the unnamed ideas I have for lengthy stories, or AU's of AU sequels. It's time to stop draining myself with this.
You all don't deserve second rate fanfictions. So I'll work my hardest. To all those who stuck with me through this all - I am so very very thankful for you all. I am so happy you keep up with my fanfictions, even when I feel as though I haven't updated in years. I'll try and work hard to finish them. All of them. I don't abandon my projects. I won't abandon you all without finishing them.
What do you all think? I love to hear from you! It really encourages me to write when I do. :)
if you decide to stop, its your choice. but i will miss your fics. i love them a lot. if you decide to leave, then i will morn the loss of this great author!! best of luck in your next step in whatever direction you go. may it be as great as this journy was/is-still
4008227 Haha, thank you! I appreciate the kind words. No, I don't think I'll be stopping. This is mostly about removing the schedule of writing and moving onto better things. I'll probably write a little bit less (seeing as I currently have 40+ in progress works), but I will never be able to stop completely. :)
Yo, You still writing? I'm investigating why my favorite stories havestopped updating as of late. Either way, good luck with whatever you've decided to do.
4553426 Indeed, I am still writing, though it's been tough here. This summer has been really busy, and I've got a lot of big projects here at the homestead. Lately, I've fallen into that pit of accidentally working on stories that aren't posted here yet! You all deserve more regular updates. But I also have other fictions in other fanbases that can't be posted here that have really stolen my heart and time, and I'm afraid I've been letting those steal away from these.
Right now, my most major focus here is Absentia, as it is the closest to being finished of my more popular stories. I am also working on some of my more major fictions, like I Am The Queen, Beast Within, and Stranger In A Familiar Place, as well as less popular ones, such as The Wish My Heart Made and (hopefully here soon) Without A Clue. It's a lot of work, though, and I'll be starting back at my job tomorrow. Hopefully I can find more time to work on these as soon as my room is done, cause that's my big project here right now.
Thanks for the ask. It's kind of been really disheartening lately, seeing how many of my fanfictions have been put on bookshelves of "Dead fictions". I refuse to let these sit and die, even if they're just stagnant for awhile. I plan to finish each and every one of these, even if it takes me 50 years to do it. I'll get to writing straight away because of this ask. Thank you for taking the time and inspiring me to work!

Truly, I was not really expecting an answer, since I was one of those people putting stories on Dead bookshelves. I guess I had come to make sure, hence my just dropping in with "Yo". (A lot of stories I've followed would stop, and I'd never hear from the author again, unfortuantely...) But! I think you'll be happy to know your story is out of the Dead shelves.
I was only reading Beast Within, but now I'm going to check out some more of your work. Piqued my interest. (Stranger in a familiar place seems pretty appealing.) Glad you're still writing!

4553571 I'm actually in summer right now, so, northern hemisphere! It's just that the few weeks of summer that have started to pass by have been so busy! And thanks for checking out my other works, it really means a lot to me that people are interested in my stories. The next update(s), I hope, will be coming out this Saturday. No promises that one you're reading will update, but I've started writing again thanks to you! <3
