A title that she gains through family doesn't hold any weight in political circles. When she was crowned a Princess, that changed.

4002059 yeah. I view it like name plates on a loco. In Thomas the Tank Engine, to punish an engine, they would remove the name plates and put them on the dirtiest duties they could find. I'm thinking they'd do the same thing. While Twilight would remain an Alicorn, but her title would be stripped and she'd be put on the dirtiest jobs that the council could find until she learned her lesson.
