Apologies · 12:37pm May 24th, 2016

What are the limits to the words, "I'm sorry"? Like... Can you smack someone in the face and ignore them, but an "I'm sorry." make it all better? I'd like to think not. I'm sorry. Heh. Funny words that the more you say them, the less real they seem. But, most words are like that aren't they? I "apologise" with those words a lot. Too often I think. They've lost potency and validity. Does that make my apologies lesser? Perhaps. Should I still apologize? Of course.

I kinda like seeing apologies as promises. "I'm sorry I kicked your nuts, I'll try to not do that when I see you again." See? You wouldn't apologize without intending to at least present yourself as a changing individual. If you did, your words would lose validity. Woops, deja vu. So I've noticed I rarely change, at least to my minds eye. Is that the cause of my various failures? Stagnation? And my victories? Merely practiced actions? Is my unchanging nature something that's caused both boons and curses?

Regardless, I'm sorry for disappearing and for not answering all the favorites and such. Please forgive me.

I don't think you really need to apologize for being gone I mean everyone in here has lives outside of this site and such and that fan get in the way of things.

And no saying sorry rarely loses its value
