Be Careful What You Wish For... · 1:31am May 21st, 2016

I really wanted to have Dragon Emissary done by now, but I've gotten nearly nothing done with it. I went from finals week to a working weekend, into a rotation, and then I've worked every day since. I've got a day off coming up, but then it's right back to work for a straight week. And, though I hate to say it, I have other things that need to be done on that day off. It may well be into July before I have more than one day off a week. I really wanted to work more during my summer break, but these 50+ hour weeks are taking a toll. For the first time in over a decade, I find my idle mind plagued by reality instead of wandering through my stories. This does not bode well for my creativity...

We all need a break from our hobbies at times. I just hope that you will eventually begin writing again, as soon as you find the time.
