National Pony Writing Month Conclusion - "I Just Don't Know What Went Wrong" Edition · 2:56am Sep 1st, 2012
To answer the question on everyone's (read: Flame Runner's) mind, no, I did not reach the 50,000 word goal.
I got off to a good start, but the thing is, college started up again for me this month. There was a lot of planning I had to do, to say nothing of how busy I got once I actually started going to classes again.
I'd hoped to at least get the rough draft of episode 1 of the story done by tonight, but I just can't force my hands to write anymore tonight. So what I've completed of the last chapter is missing half of two scenes and the epilogue scene.
But you know, this isn't really anything to be overly sad about. After all, I wrote 8941 Words in a month! That is DAMN productive for me, and even though a lot of editing and re-writing will need to be done one what I've written, I'm proud of my work. I'll just be extra-extra proud of it when it's complete. :)
I'll try to finish the rest of the last chapter tomorrow, since I have no classes or anything else holding me back from working on it. And then the arduous editing process will begin. If I'm lucky, a tentative final draft could be out sometime mid-September.
Stayed tuned for my next blog update, when I announce the completion of the rough draft. And as always, if anyone wants to read the story beforehand and give their advice/opinions, feel free to ask. I'm always looking for input on everything I do.

Ah, school. I'm literally going to back to my college today and start classes on Monday (yes, Labor Day). And I'm glad that you got a good amount of writing in this August. Can't wait to see what you've got written and I hope your college year goes well! Best of luck!
