[OC Bio] Auburn Xiao Long · 12:26am May 2nd, 2016

Well, if Sean's allowed to make OCs, then I can damn-well make OCs as well! Obviously I can't draw for shit, so I had to wait until Sean actually drew her, but she's still technically my OC! I created her! Granted, she never would have been created if Sean didn't create Oreonna and the alternate universe, so... shit, I guess he owns Auburn then. If you don't know who I'm talking about, I speak of the criminally underrated LongSean22, creator of the Oreonna-verse and, honestly, one of my role models. But, uh... Don't tell him I said that. It would be weird.

Alright, now please enjoy Auburn Xiao Long! And no, you didn't read the title wrong; this is Yang Xiao Long's daughter.

Full Name (technically):
Auburn Xiao Long Winchester

Age:
(From left to right) 3-4, 11, 18-19

Parents:
Yang Xiao Long (biological mother), Cardin Winchester (biological father), Blake Belladonna (paternal mother)

Weapon:
Abadeer's Flame; a close-quarters combat weapon with sound properties. As with most weapons, it relies heavily on dust to dish out damage, with dust-laced blades and an inner dust core. However, its real function comes with the speaker in the middle. While on "Active" mode, a quick strum of any of its strings will cause a shockwave of noise that can potentially deafen smaller Grimm and knock back larger ones. The axe blades are retractable and the weapon doubles as a trusty guitar in Auburn's currently unnamed rock group.

Description:
Auburn was an accident, simply put. Her mother, Yang Xiao Long, attended a large party at a friend's place at the young age of 19-20 and got extremely drunk extremely quickly. A young man by the name of Cardin Winchester took advantage of this and raped her, knowing full-well she wouldn't be able to remember the event. Yang soon found herself pregnant with Auburn and Cardin fled the scene, never to be seen again. At first, Yang had extreme distaste for the child she carried, even once considering abortion. But with the help of her sister Ruby and her friends Blake and Weiss, she pulled through. Of course, she wasn't the most responcible mother and constantly misplaced Auburn, forcing either Blake or Ruby to take care of the poor child.

Despite this unintentional mistreatment of her daughter, Yang still loves Auburn immensely, and vise-versa. Auburn holds no resentment towards her mother and even looks up to her as a role model, in a strange kind of way. She also dearly adores her aunt Ruby and "aunt" Weiss, but favors her "aunt" Blake the most, so much to the point when Yang and Blake announced their marriage, Auburn actually let out a small smile. More on that later, however.

Auburn, despite the age difference, is good friends with Oreonna and sees her as a role model as well. Unfortunately, she can be quite obsessive over Oreonna, even go so far as to once spy on her in the Beacon shower rooms. This obsession is thankfully of pure intent and it never really goes too far. She doesn't really know Oreonna's team all that well, but she is at least on good terms with them. She hopes to one day join Beacon and begin her own journey towards becoming a huntress, which she eventually does.

Personality:
At first glance, you may see Auburn as an emotionless robot that looks frighteningly realistic. But on closer examination... that's actually not too far from the truth. Auburn isn't one for smiling, crying, or getting upset; she just has the same blank, uninterested stare on her face about 95% of her life; she simply doesn't care much about her surroundings. This doesn't mean she isn't emotionless, however. There have been times when she's laughed, cried, and even gotten very angry at something. These things have to push her over her boundaries however, so seeing emotions from Auburn is like seeing snow in Florida; it DOES happen, but the likelihood of it actually happening is slim, to say the least.

There are positives and negatives to this. A positive includes her being able to carry out tasks without much care. This means she's able to accomplish tasks without much afterthought. Another positive includes being easy to talk to, what with her being quiet most of the time and not showing any emotions. You can talk to her for hours and she wouldn't judge you. However, a few negatives to this include her inability to understand other people's emotions, and her lack of knowledge about comforting people.

As mentioned before, she doesn't talk much. However, when she starts talking, she has the potential to talk for hours in her normal, monotone voice. If she isn't stopped before she gets going, there might be no stopping her until she's finished her thoughts. She is thankfully semi-aware of this and she does her best to refrain herself from talking too much.

Triva:
- She was named Auburn due to Yang's fascination with her hair color.
- She was (in her youth) and still is extremely intelligent.
- She's got a good punch in her. Yang is proud her arm power made it into her offspring.
- Only once has she ever spied on Oreonna in the shower room. No one but her knows this.
- She has met her father once after a long search for him and has forgiven him for what he did to Yang.
- She'll lead a currently unnamed rock band when she's older.
- Along with this, she's a surprisingly good singer despite her usually monotone voice.
- She'll have a very important part in Oreonna: The Legend of the Grimmwalker. Maybe... depends, really.
- She frequently attends her aunt Weiss's on-stage performances.
- She does have a Beacon team, but they haven't been and probably never will be revealed.
- Her team does make up her band, however.
- She's six years younger than Oreonna in all timelines.
- She met a silver-haired girl slightly older than her once. This girl will be explored in the future...
- When she was born, the doctors thought she was dead because she wasn't crying.
- Her favorite color is purple, as she wears it on every single one of her outfits somewhere.
- As cute as it would be if they were the same, she's wearing different white coats from aunt Weiss above.
- Yang was pretty okay with Auburn dying her hair and getting lip piercings. Blake was slightly less happy.
- She designed her insignia herself, taking inspiration from both her role-models (Yang and Oreonna).

Thanks! Though, I shouldn't take all the credit; Sean made the picture above, and for that I thank him.

Cardinal......:trixieshiftright: Eh, not the worst ship I´ve seen, but I wholesay ship Bumblebee, though do give leeway to BlakeXSun. Neat thought

Oh, nonononono... You misunderstand, good sir.

I don't ship Yang with Cardin. In fact, Yang in this universe absolutely despises Cardin for what he did to her all those years ago. Obviously she loves Auburn, but can never forgive Winchester for that day. Later down the line, Yang and Blake realize their feelings for each other and eventually get married, much to Auburn's happiness for them.

...even if she doesn't really show it all that much. :rainbowlaugh:

3911638 Oh, now that I read the backstory, I want to smash Cardin´s balls in even more. But yay for Bumblebee.
