Bon Bon tapped a hoof on her desk in the Ponyville Robotics Labs. She had been skimming the monthly report she ts and she was not amused. The whole project she was working on was based around being on time. If she didn't have those servomagical conduits in by the end of the week she was going to get a harsh talking to. And Bon Bon hated talking to the boss- Twilight was a stickler for the details and walking up to her and saying that the entire project was cancelled by the whole mess with the L.Y.R.A. bot not functioning properly- that would not be a good idea.
Resting her head in her hooves and looked up at her beautiful work. "Now if only I could get you to work right. Then my coworkers wouldn't be thinking that I spend too much time down here with a hunk of metal while they get to reap the benefits of my work."
The earth pony scanned over her lab- gears and motors strewn about haphazardly around showing the late night work that she had done with a core team of scientists spread across the breadth of Equestria. They had sunk massive amounts of time and money to get Sparkle Labs on the map as being the first creators of artificial intelligence.
"And you were so close too. I mean outside of a few tests that I could have ran myself, you were done. And now we won't see you get mas produced now."
Bon Bon slowly walked over to her robot: the Large Yield Robotic Assistant- or Lyra for short and pushed the chest mounted power button to see if, for a small hope, that maybe her creation would wake up.
