Religion

I've notice there a lot of stories on here to paint religion negatively. I can understand that people of used religion for their own means and have caused great harm all over the world. At the same time though it's helped people. Its how its used that makes it evil or good. I get a little sad at times when stories that I like attack religion so out right for its failings. I'm a Christian and I'm not ashamed to say that. I shouldn't have to fear being a Christian. I'm not saying that the stories I've read are calling to destroy all religions. Its just the way their worded is all. I can understand peoples frustrations and how they see religion causing so much harm. Believe me, I can never understand why people use the Bible for evil acts. It makes no sense.

I'm not attacking authors for portraying religion in a negative light in there stories and I'm not going to stop reading them. They only just pop up once and then they're never talked about again. Still, I find it disheartening that its brought up to begin with and many times in such a way that makes it look bad and that those of us who fallow religion should feel bad and stop believing. I'm not going to stop though, nor am I going to judge people for this thought. Its not my place to judge.

I just wanted to let people know where I stand and I hope I'm not judged to harshly for my stance on this. I do like coming here and reading some good fanfics and I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad. This is just this something that I needed to get off my chest is all.
