If anyone has heard, some tourtured soul (as I keep hearing him called) brought a shotgun to school today, on my first day of school (Senior Year for me), and went wild, shooting randomly into the crowd of his fellow student with the intention of getting shot by a cop.
Most interesting first day ever...
But why? What I want to know is why? He was bullied, and he was a generally creepy kid, supposedly being a satanist and hardcore goth, according to the news. He had long hair, black-painted nails, and loved to listen to Ramstein, a popular German Band of heavy Rock with music "fit for invading Poland with." They say he brought out the gun from it's hidig spot somewhere in or near the school after his bullies threw food at him in lunch, then ended up shooting twice before our great hero of a counselor took him down and kept him there.
So, is this the bullies' fault? Not entirely, but yes. Not on this day, because he posted in fucking Facebook that he was going to do it.
Is it the shooter's fault? Not entirely, but yes. If he was so tortured and upset. Why did he have to take it out on my comrades? HIS comrades? He fucking shot a kid, an innocent kid, unrelated to his pain in any way.
Is it the bystanders' fault? Not entirely, but yes. Why, when he was being bullied and ridiculed, did NO ONE stand up for him? He had the lunch before mine, and I know that if I saw some assholes doing what they did to this kid, who I don't know whatsoever, I KNOW that I would step in and stop it.
No one deserves to be bullied.
No one deserves to be shot.
And fucking no one should ever sit by and let this kid, this supposedly horrible, horrible kid, be treated like he was.
I mean, seriously. Ramstein is fucking awesome...
I hope to everything that all of you who read this will always be that person who stands up for the little guys, for the crazy guys, and for the meek guys, because what they go through is maddening, as clearly seen here today, and they need someone to help them through the monster that forms inside.
I know from experience...monsters inside can really tear you, and the people around you, apart if left unchecked. All we need is someone to stand by us and say, "Forget those jerks, they're just jealous of your awesome hair."
As a side note, now that school has started, story updates will probably be even more sporadic than they already are.

Yeah, the worst part is I feel kinda responsible myself because I wasn't there to do anything about the bullying...I mean, I know I couldn't have possibly been there, since I was on the other side of the school, but...I just...
That's just the kinda guy I am, I just feel like it's my obligation and duty to help everyone...
