New Story

So I'm thinking that I wanna try writing another story. The thing is, the one time I tried writing a story, I got shot down pretty bad, and I got pretty emotional over it. I've long since calmed down, but I don't know if I want to resume writing or just read and comment on other stories. I'd really appreciate some input from anyone that cares at all to give me some. I know I'm probably not worth the time, but if I am, please voice your opinion. I'd like to know.

You can only improve upon mistakes. This site in particular is renowned for having one of the most critical writing communities on the internet. If you do end up writing a story, people are gonna bash it, but that doesn't mean you can't take any of their feedback and use it to improve upon your own writing. Give it a shot.
