    This website redesign though..

It's so different, and compact like, scary change at first but slick looking. However, I'm back this time, just need to update my bookmarks to readily access the site more.

    Helloooo 2017

For anyone that is wondering, I'm not inactive, just lurking mostly.
The new year is off to an eventful and chaotic start. Not just news but a whole lot of stuff going on.

Super Bowl this weekend. I don't follow sports much but the commercials are talk of the week.
4chan's Winter Cup starts soon. TWO STARS for /mlp/ and aiming for more salt!

    Is it February yet?
    Almost.

News Regarding MLP FiM Season 6 Scheduled Airings

ALL the upcoming episodes of Season 6 are airing 'early' next week on UK T.V. - Tiny Pop channel over a couple days. I will be catching a stream then. North America schedule is still the same.

Fallout: Equestria by The Overmare Studios · 10:23pm Feb 27th, 2016

In short, I downloaded it, ran the installer, tweaked the game speed settings, played it, liked it. I have never played a Unity engine-based game before so this was very interesting to see on start up. The game has a lot of potential behind it. Even as a pre-alpha combat demo [Wave 3 demo] it has the potential to go far and amaze. I'll probably type some more up later about it, like a review kind of thing but for now this will suffice.

I spent hours looking for every item in this demo, that Spiked Bandit Helmet hiding spot proves I am not observant enough. Just for kicks and reference I have listed every enemy, weapon, armor piece and spell. For when the game gets more developed and it grows from these humble and awe-inspiring roots. I am thinking of editing the Fallout: Equestria wiki for the first time to edit the game's section on the Games and Mods page so more people know the demo is firstly released, and secondly has content that is worth a couple of hours playtime. Perhaps the game can soon use it's own wiki page for comprehensive information when the game has another public release. For a pre-alpha demo, pre-alpha, and not even alpha this demo exceeds expectations. Since it is a demo and moreso a pre-alpha demo I cannot complain too much with bugs or oddities as to what was given to us.

What I liked what I saw
The Main menu
The Main menu's main theme I sat there just to listen to the song itself until it looped at the end
S.A.T.S. works, albeit rough but it works
The Stable Security Armor is well done in detail. A '2' seen on the helmet and the word 'Security' reminds me of Blackjack from Fo:E - PH
Raider Gladiator Armor is also well done
The reloading animations for weapons is great
Reindeer Antlers is a nice little easter egg Littlepip the Red-Nosed Lightbringer!

What I am on the fence about
The firearms have been modified for Earth ponies, they have a handle to pull the trigger using their mouths. While I find this quite interesting approach to weapons I do believe Unicorn specific firearms should not have this irregular handle. Or maybe just have two variations one with and without the mouth grip handle.
The game accommodating other races for NPCs but no customization for the player, understandably for reliving the story in a game finally.
Littlepip's color scheme is left up to the reader's imagination in the story, while I do so love the popular fandom design, I believe there should be customization available so the most popular is not the only option. Like how you can change hairstyles in Fallout 3 or get a new face. Dying the pony's coat a different color.
The, in my opinion, untapped potential for expansion from the original story with the open-world and sandbox theme of Fallout. Isn't Somber, the author of Project Horizons working on this game as well?

Random bugs & oddities/observances
Raider voices are too loud on some instances, a dying female raider more loudly yelling "NO!" startled me the first time
Raiders need consistent genders for voices, sometimes you hear a female voice then a male voice on death
Raiders do in fact, re-spawn it seems :rainbowlaugh:
Hunting Shotgun is the bane of the player in the hands of a Raider, they will snipe the player with it, meanwhile the Hunting Shotgun is understandably short ranged in the player's hooves
Assault Rifle has very limited range compared to other weapons
I know this is pre-alpha but on the to do is definitely weapon and armor balance. Stable Security Armor should be more protective I think compared to what the Raiders wear.
Messing with the controls enough can make the player lose the ability to jump.
The eyes of Littlepip looks faded and un-alive, why the faded eyes persist in the demo perplexes me

Heck I will probably sign up on The Overmare Studios forum so I can give this feedback and be a bit more involved on the community side.
