Change of plans.

So, having taken the time to read the longer Sunset stories out there over the last six months, I tried as hard as I could to rewrite ideas from my outline draft to keep from copying ideas that cropped up in others. That has become almost impossible and as it stands now, I can't continue with my own without about 60% of it being a retread. Serves me right for picking a very popular topic (Sunlight) and not being too creative a writer.

So that's a 50 page document and 6 chapters of stuff that can be trashed. Well...not entirely, a couple of new characters and ideas that formed a B plot will probably now end up being the focus of a new separate story. Maybe, if I can think of one, and that doesn't spring up in a better writers head in the very near shortly. Which it probably will.

I'm off to drink and feel slightly better.
