2015 Musings.

So after a few years of not really having an active interest in fanfiction, I spent a lot of this year reading...well a lot of stories here and finding it more entertaining than I thought it would be.

And being struck by inspiration over the summer, I have found myself planning my own stories for the first time in a long time. Whether or not I finally finish all remains to be seen. But it feels good to be working on something and I've thrown a lot of my time into the development of a Sunset based series.

I know I'm not alone in being a...little bit of an obsessive Sunset fan around here so that helped in going ahead with it all. I have less than twenty fanfics to my name since 2003 and I haven't written in years, so this is going to be rough. And to be honest I'm scared of putting any work out there at all knowing what internet commentry is like and all, but I know this fandom can be that bit kinder than most.

3 Chapters down and 15 to go on my first story, I want to start posting in the new year, having only one person to proof read anything I do have slows it down, writers block and non-stop distractions in this house being the other problems.

So starting in January I should have something to contribute rather than just commenting. So, as long as I'm not driven off the site by an angry mob, I'll find the time and motivation to write enough to entertain everypony.

So...yeah. I ramble a lot, as you can see.
