Something bad happened.
Not "THE WORST POSSIBLE THING" bad but it's bad in my opinion.
I have a note pad thing on my phone, and that would be where I write the longer stories. (Although the story about Pinkie Pie getting her arm stuck in the portal was written entirely on my computer. Then I copied it off onto the note pad, and by doing so was able to revise the mess-ups and typos. But anyway,) My phone has issues with storage, it has for a really long time.
But I woke up one day, turned my phone on, and went straight to the notepad. And just my luck, it said "No Notes." Basically, all the work that I had done for two of my looong stories was completely deleted. What a setback.
Oh gosh this happened to me, too. I had one story that I was typing up on my notes app on breaks at work. Then one day the logic board decided that working properly was for the birds and refused to charge my phone, so I had to watch it slowly die. It was under warranty still so I got a new one; but the story was lost forever.
Since then I've switched to typing on google docs. Automatic backup and on any computer.

It's more like google's "productivity software", like Microsoft Word, except cloudbased. So I can access my stuff on my phone, on my laptop, on the school's computer; same words everywhere.
