    I've Filmed Many Cosplayers

I've attended several more conventions in the past months. I've been trying to film everyone I could (sort of hoping that my skill of holding a camera would improve some).
The resulting footage has been put together into videos that are dedicated to a specific theme: either expo events, or wandering & finding beautiful people to film, or individual outstanding cosplayers.

The New Gods - report, 09.09.16

I've made an apocalyptic event chain. If one side (Harmony/Nightmare) is about to wipe the other out, the endangered one's religious head may plead to their divine patron. Then, serious shit may go down. I'll have to put some pathos into the flavor texts.
So fortunate that The Reaper's Due includes a depopulation mechanic :pinkiecrazy:

Working on The New Gods now

    For real. I think.

Of course, I'll have to go through everything and change things around again come 25th... well, have to get working anyway.

[0.42.x] My Little Fortress 4.0: Endless Nights - 3; stream of thoughts on X-Com Final · 12:26am Feb 3rd, 2016

I've ran a test fort for about 6 years, and it hadn't crashed. The new reactions seem to be in working order, so I'll probably release it soon.

This took so long because I had to get rid of an old shame: I've never completed X-Com: UFO Defense before. The 1994 game, that is. I've played it as a kid, and later, but have never gotten around to actually flying to Mars. But now I have, with the help of the Final OpenX-Com mod collection!

That thing is glorious. It's basically Long War for the 1994 game.
You can't just skip the ballistic guns anymore; to even research laser weapons, you'll need a sample (the aliens now wield some laser rifles) and an interrogation. And you'll need even more to get to the advanced ones, like your favorite infini-ammo laser rifle (the ones that you reach initially are not!). While you haven't done that, you'll have to play around with firearms - which have been greatly expanded to include machine guns (several types), sniper rifles (several types) and even some that you have to invent yet (including the vanilla heavy cannon and autocannon). To support you before the advent of energy weapons, there's alloy ammo for ballistics. And the aliens have several new guns, too.
Of course, there's new armor and totally new equipment, including melee weapons.
The roster of UFOs and interceptors has been expanded, with new alien craft of all sizes and several human craft, including some for the pre-UFO Power Source era - which is important, as it'll take a lot more to reach that reseaarch.
The alien variety has been bolstered with some inventive use of the species from TFTD. Some were re-modeled; some new onew were created (like the terrorist for the Gazers / Lobster Men).
Also, they've added alien hybrids and a rival "Men In Black" organization, which you'll be killing. The latter can get problematic in the early game, as they'll be bringing their own tanks (and later, Sectopods... although, this you can do as well!).
