I don't want to rain on your parade or anything... but I can imagine why the fans would react this way. I mean... to be honest this is the most oddest thing I've ever seen Fox Century go along with. And the whole idea with Baraka being the host is... rather odd. Creative I guess... but nonetheless odd. And I can also imagine why people might have a negative opinion towards it is because of the fan service. I mean... does Leatherface really belong in a Mortal Kombat game? Does the Predator belong in a Mortal Kombat game? Does an Xenomorph... out of all beings belong in a Mortal Kombat game?

Literally... an Xenomorph? I have barely played this game and I certainly know a fan service idea when I see one. Sure it sounds cool in practice and theory, but now that I see what I've seen, it actually puts me off even more from buying the game. I certainly enjoy the Xenomorph, but it doesn't belong in this game. It belongs in a thriller game like Alien Isolation. Not to dis your own opinion, because I certainly do respect yours, I just find it to be odd...

(On a side note, do you really think any of the Mortal Kombat characters would stand against the Xenomorph, not to mention that it's born from Baraka... although how that factors in is only something I can't even guess... go figure).
