Don't let people stop you from using creativity. Some may be bad, some may be dreadful, but that's the thing with creativity. You create ways to make it even better. That's the creative truth.

The Thing That Bothers Me · 4:47am Jan 4th, 2016

I come up with so many ideas, so many stories, so many games! And I just want to execute them and put them out there... but I feel like I can't... For stories outside of MLP, I just flop and give up so weakly. For here, I put out so many stories, ones that are actually stories with many chapters instead of a quick one-shot or story with two chaps. Now, that gets to me a bit. As you can see, quite a handful for me, yes? Especially for a teen like me, but hey, I still try hard. And sometimes I prevent these ideas to come out to have less stress, you could say. So, that is a little something that kills me a bit.

I try to pop a chapter from whatever time I can (atleast a month or about), and try not to be like those stories that completely have another chapter like a year later. Now yes, my second story IS pretty much on a huge hiatus, and I had the thought that it may be cancelled (I just don't know, I'll think about it). But, yeah, it kinda gets to me, you know? I'm VERY sure I'm not the only one not just here, but in the world. There are tons of people with many ideas like I do. From tv shows they would love to direct to video games they want to create, it just gets there.

Plus, if you do wanna hear some of my show/game ideas, I could... I could share.

Sadly, this is something that doesn't ever go away in life: Creating things is hard. The follow-through required to take something from concept to completion can be numbing, draining, and downright discouraging. It's both a miracle, and a testament to peoples' determination and cleverness, that anything gets done, ever.

But you gotta dream, and try, and fight, and learn from when you get smacked down, if you want to create things. And generally, people do want to create; whether it's art, or writing, or restoring a classic car, or building a solid family.

That's not to discourage the effort. Quite the opposite. Giving up on your dreams so much easier and more comfortable; to some extent, the fact that you encounter difficulty in life is a sign that you are working hard and not giving up.
