Okay, so the NLL has a deal with Fox Sports to allow people to watch their games without requiring a subscription, but still requires a provider to use Fox Sports GO.
I emailed back and forth with an NLL staff member, saying that they haven't received a complaint like mine before. Obviously they never encountered someone who literally lives in the woods of Michigan's upper peninsula and their cable provider doesn't carry Fox Sports.
NLL has a subsite, live.nll.com, that allows people to purchase previously aired games. Unfortunately, this season will not be available at all, and only be available on Fox Sports GO, or ESPN3.
I have missed out on NLL for two seasons, and this will be the third I've had to miss out on because of their idiocy.
