Well it's been about a week since my last blog post, so here's another one! Nothing much happened this week, however I did see the new Star Wars movie, I can safely say I really enjoyed it. There was never a dull moment, it was full of action, twists, actual interesting dialogue. I was kinda dreading it since I had to get up so early and I was worried it was gonna suck, but it really surprised me. The only complaints I have is the force romance between Finn and Rey, not because of racial standards, only because I don't really see them as a couple, more action pals ... that sounded fukkin gay. That and the very rare, but noticeable, awkward action moments or dialogue, which was mostly from Han. The guy's getting old though, so it's only expectable. And some people who saw the movie may be thinking I'm an asshole for saying that, let it be known that something can have flaws and still be great. Yes I had the occasional chuckle at some serious scenes, and kinda suspected things they were going to do, but I really enjoyed the movie.
Off of that, I did get around to proofreading and finishing Love's Changing. It feels a bit rushed and forced, but I was kinda tired of it and wanted to finish it. Someone in the comments said something like that, I'll show it here:
Skye Mist: Nice concept, but a little too rushed if you ask me.
My Reply: Meh, truth be told I was eager to just finish it already. Kinda sucks cause my brain just sorta works like that, it's eager to make something, but once it's tired of it, regardless of if it's finished or not, I just say "Fuck it." and either drop it entirely or try to wrap it up best I can. I did the best of what I could, and to be honest I think I could've done a lot worse. I went for the mushy lovey ending, cheap but effective. I need to just stick to one off's or non-linear based stories, I can't do with keeping track of characterization and blah blah blah . Also forgive me if some of this seems off or something, I'm exhausted.
I completely understand where she's coming from, and a lot of writers really don't realize something until someone else points it out. Also sorry if you didn't want your name brought up in this Skye .
I think that concludes this blog, I just need to find a really dumb gif or picture, oh let's make it Christmas related !
