    Update No. 18

Hello, loyal readers, and thank you for sticking around for two whole years of me not writing. I thank you for your patience, and I wish to express my gratitude towards all of you, new and old, who have been enjoying Consanguinity.

I thought it was high time I posted an update blog about how things are going, so here we are!

I've started the next chapter... twice, in fact. X'D

Shipping anthology, possibly? · 9:09pm Dec 18th, 2015

All right, so here's the deal: I have a few short shipping stories that I've written in the past, and while I'm posting them on my deviantArt account, I have almost zero traffic on that page so very few people are reading and enjoying them. I like to write random shipping stories once in a while, most often short (for me) stories that I don't feel rate their own unique stories... and I've been considering sharing them on fimfiction.

Now, most of these stories are going to be either OC or ponysona shipping stories -- sometimes with other OCs or sonas, sometimes with canon characters. I know that OC/canon ships aren't really that well accepted ANYWHERE, but I think it's unavoidable when you get so emotionally invested in a show and characters. These stories will be shorter, simpler and more to-the-point, with much less rambling from yours truly, but I really like to write them because it's FUN and a great exercise for my sometimes neglected writing muscles.

I guess it really comes down to two questions: Does this sound like something you guys are interested in reading? And if so, do you think that I should post them each as their own short stories, or as part of a larger anthology that would get updated whenever I finish a shipping story? Any input will be appreciated!
