You are [name]. Just another human. Your name does not stick out among the crowd. Are you even sure you have a name? It’s been so long since you’ve really felt anything when someone said it.
You are not free until you are away from everything. At least, that’s how you feel. But are you even free then? Are you sure freedom really exists?
Life has been unfair to you. It grew you up to tear you apart. You’ve felt so much pain. You’ve felt your hopes and dreams die with every birthday wish. You feel like you’ve felt enough tears roll down your cheek to flood the world. You feel like hope is for children and fools. You feel fear and sadness deep in your heart.
Can anyone really remove it? Can you? Can your best friend? Can your greatest hero save you from the Darkness before you become it?
Perhaps you still have a shred of hope left. Perhaps you can still feel your Light. If you can, this message is to tell you to keep fighting. Rage, rage against the dying of the Light.
If you’ve lost all hope, and the Light has forsaken you, this message is here to tell you to look deeper. You are not so far lost in the Dark that you cannot return to the Light. Do not go gentle into that goodnight.
There is a knife for you. It is shaped like [I refuse to give up].
Pick it up. Keep fighting.
