I am very sorry for the long hiatus on both my stories as well as my not helping my wife work on hers. I don't want to go too much into it, but I do have some problems with depression and we have been having some family problems lately. I don't want to get into what happened, but it isn't between my wife and me, but it is still enough to cause us both a lot of grief.
The good news is, we both will be updating very soon. We are deciding if we want to start working on updates, or take a story we wrote on vacation many months ago which is an Anon a miss story for a Christmas special. It is 75% done though we need to touch it up a little bit. Let me know which you would like to see first, updates or Christmas special? Also, whose updates do you want to see more, Burning Sunset (my wife who I help more than a little with) or mine if you pick updates.
Nice to see you back though. Hope things will pull through. I guess at this point I'd be happy with any story being updated.
You don't have to apologize. Your lives are infinitely more important than the goings on around here. 'sides, we'll always be around to bug you upon your return

Though I would like to see 'Starting Over' update, the choice can only be made by you and whatever choice that is will be the right one.

3609148 lol thanks, we are going to try and have the first thing posted within a few days, though we are debating the merits and negatives of rewriting it as a humanized story in a fantasy setting or keep it pony style. Thatnks, it has been great, even with the stuff we've had to deal with.

3610662 Thanks for understanding, and I hope you will be at least partially happy with our plans as Starting Over is the first story that we want to concentrate on, though we will likely be rewriting it was there is some parts I'm not too happy about with it. We are kind of thinking about making it fantasy human like with magic and all of that, though for this story the negatives of changing it to that is outweighing the merits so this is one story that will probably stay ponies, though we are still working on that. It should be done and posted within the next few days once we iron out the details and decide on ponies and humans for sure. If any of you want to weigh in on that, feel free to.
3611406 Well, personally I'd prefer for Starting Over to remain ponies. I've never been a big fan of... 'humanisation', if you will, but as always; it's your choice and the story has my attention already, so I'll probably read the rewrite regardless.
It's good to see you're back! Don't worry about having been on hiatus for so long, if something important came up in regards to your family then that obviously takes precedence over FiMFiction, no need to apologize for it.
I think I'd honestly be fine with whatever you feel like updating. I am admittedly pretty interested to see what's become of the Anon-A-Miss story since the last time we talked about it, but I do understand if other people would rather see some progress be made towards your other stories first before you begin a new one.
3611445 We've decided to keep that ponies, and we are working on outlining what we want to do and seeing what all needs fixed in that story since it's actually a bigger mess than we thought. We are also debating how to handle the rewrite since even though we don't want to just delete what we have, we are thinking about moving the old to another site so anyone can see the original while putting the new here.
3617280 Thanks, I'll admit it has been a bit of a roller coaster, but I'm doing better. New meds and everything seems to be helping more. We are starting with Starting Over, then one of hers so we can be kind of fair on what gets done when, though that story is being posted on hers as is until we get to it to fix it up and continue it. There will be lots of mistakes in it right now and there will be changes when we get to it, but it is put up as a kind of Christmas thing at least.
3622275 It's definitely a relief to hear that you're doing better now, hopefully the new meds will continue to help in that regard. If the Christmas story still needs a bit of work before it's ready then that's perfectly fine by me, just remember that I'll still gladly help you guys out if you need a third party to bounce ideas off of for it.
I'd really like to read more shattered twilight. I'm sorry to hear about your depression, if it helps any; know that you have followers that care about you. Hope you feel better and glad to hear your okay.

We want to add more to it, especially a bit of a prologue to the story. My wife is wanting to work on the Christmas one since there is a lot of people wanting to see more of it, so we might work on it more since it is Christmas. Anybody have thoughts on that?

3625815 We do have plans to work more on Shattered, though we want to take it 1, maybe 2 stories at a time. Starting Over isn't going so well as it is a huge mess, especially near the end and I want to make it better as well as add some stuff to it to make it better to show some of the stuff that I wanted to happen better instead of just barely mentioning it. We are talking about Shattered as it doesn't need much fixing up to continue it, if any.
3626772 If your wife really wants to work on it because it's thematically appropriate now due to it being Christmas time, then I don't really see any reason that you shouldn't. If you put working on it off for too long then you won't have the motivation to do it anymore once Christmas rolls on past, so it would probably be a good idea to hammer out any flaws while the iron is still hot. (I'll have to read the rough draft you guys have done for it later on when I'm not so tired.)
