I edited "Party of Two" just slightly; I fixed it up a bit, but it's not really different enough that I'd go about rereading it expecting noticeable changes.
The actual news is that I'm working on a sequel, tentatively titled "Party of (Every)One." The general plot (as of right now) is about Pinkie Pie confronting her friends about Pinkamena's existence; of course, their initial reaction is not exactly ideal, and, being Pinkie Pie, she tries desperately to reconcile the two parties--which is difficult, considering Twilight and company aren't even convinced that Pinkamena exists yet.
I know a lot of people (well, a good percentage of the people that read it) wanted a sequel, and I really wanted to return to it, so I hope you're as excited as I am!
