The next chapter of A Game of Kings and Pretty Pony Princesses will mark a huge milestone for me.
In preparations for what is to follow, I thought about experimenting a little bit and work on a short story different than the kind I'm used to writing. Every story I wrote has been injected with some sort of comedy, snarkiness, or tongue-in-cheek humor. So I thought I'd try to play it straight and work on an idea I had a while back. It was inspired by this song:
Quick synopsis:
Sweetie Belle and her friends have disappeared on a mountain where it snows all year round. Rarity, with the help of Rainbow Dash, sets out to find the lost foals, but when they do, they stumble upon a mystery hidden on the mountain's peak. If Rarity and Rainbow are to find the girls and make it back safely, they must overcome the cruel weather, terrible beasts, and the magic behind the cold, unforgiving mountain.
I'm still trying to think of a name for this story.
