That didn't work out. Long story short (too late) for those who missed it, I intended to get some pony stories finished for October.

So, it's begun. The epic saga that I've been planning for literally the 3 days since the finale aired.

Okay, so that's not entirely true. I've been trying to get a large-scale fanfic off the ground for years, but none of them have actually stuck like this one has. I've never had a world open up to me like this one has, so hold on to your flanks, we're in for a hell of a ride.

final OFFICIAL count for National Pony Writer's Month is 10,999. there's a bit more I wrote, but it's unfinished/sideboarded/kinda crap, so I'm not counting those.
