I do hope that everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful one. Turkey, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie. Can't get any better than that.

Oh, and family time.

Can't forget that. My grandma would have my head.

The last months of the year always pass in a blur for me. It's only up until mid September that I clearly remember anything. Then it's Halloween decorations (and me hoarding kit kats and Hershey's dark chocolate). But when the clock strikes 12 midnight on October 31st/November 1st...

BAM!!!

Christmas is everywhere.

A break down of my November and upcoming busy December------
November 8th: my birthday. November 9th: Angus' birthday. Every Sunday night: intense Choir practice for the Christmas show. November 22nd: Christmas Parade. November 26th: Thanksgiving. December 11th and 12th : My sister's ballet school hosts the Nutcracker Ballet. December 12th and 13th: Church hosts our 3rd Christmas Show Extravaganza (and I'm performingEEK!) Then from the 13th to the 24th it's rushing it find presents for my family. December 24th: Christmas party. December 25th: Christmas Family Dinner and presents exchange.

December 26th: I FINALLY GET TO BREATHE.

And throughout it all it's work, work and more work at the dog school/boarding facility. Oi vey.
I need a vacation.

Okay! Now that that's outta my system. Story update.

Good grief. If procrastinating was a talent, I'd have it.

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing

I'm sorry, guys. I may have to scoot back On a Hearth's Warming release a teensy bit more. But if there is one thing that I can promise, it will be released. Everyone might be dead by then, though

So in apology for this, here is an excerpt from Chapter 6: Parties and Princesses (and Knights in Shining Armor).

“Is the blind fold really necessary?”
“It is totally necessary,”
“Can you guys at least tell me where we’re going?”
“Nope,”
Flash groaned as he was guided by Thunder Bolt and Spike.
“Are we there yet?” Flash asked.
“No,” Bolt responded.
“Are we there yet?” Flash asked again a few minutes later.
“No,” Bolt responded once more.
Ten minutes later
“Are we there yet?”
“OH MY GOSH CAN YOU SHUT IT ALREADY!” Bolt exploded. “Why didn’t I use the duct tape like Sea said?”
“What?” Flash balked.
“Actually, I brought it,” Spike said, holding up the roll of grey tape.
“Spike, you are awesome,” Bolt smiled. Flash’s ears twitched as he heard Bolt pull on the tape.
“Wait wait wait! I’ll be good! No more ask-MUMFF!”
“Ah, that’s better,” Bolt sighed. It was a good thing Flash had on the blind fold, because if looks could kill, Bolt would be ash.
Soon the three arrived at Sweet Apple Acres. Spike and Bolt guided Flash to the barn. The barn door opened to reveal Big Mac. The big red stallion’s calm smile faded quickly as he took in the sight of Bolt and Spike with a blind folded and duct taped Flash Sentry.
“Don’t ask,” Bolt said. Mac shook his head.
“Eenope,” Mac opened the door farther so that Bolt could guide Flash in. Shining Armor took one look at his soon-to-be brother-in-law and fell back laughing.
“This is too rich! Where’s a camera when I need it?”
Spike unwrapped Flash’s muzzle while Bolt pulled off the blind fold.
“FINALLY!” Flash shook his head. He looked around the barn to see Big Mac, Shining Armor, Soarin, Stone Brook, Skye Racer, Red Knight, Glacier, Caramel, and Fancy Pants.
“Uh, what’s going on?”
“It’s your bachelor party,” Skye said, raising up a mug of hard cider.
“Sea and the girls are throwing a bachelorette party for Twilight, so I figured we would do something for you,” Bolt smiled.
“Did the original plan of getting him here include blind folds and duct tape?” Caramel asked.
“At first it was just a blind fold, until he decided to get chatty,” Spike said. Flash rolled his eyes.
