It's safe to say that when the temperature climbs above 30* Celsius, I begin to lose my ability to have rational thoughts.
As you might've seen, I finally updated Queen Chrysalis' Foundation for Volunteer Incubators. It's a short chapter yes, but if you missed the author's note, it's because I really don't want to burn myself out like I did previously. Pushing too hard hurts the overall quality more than those extra hundred words will help.
Sunset Shimmer: ACP will probably be next to get a revival after all, depending on if I can get in touch with my ability to write funny stories. Doing blatant parodies and trope inversions is decent, but the existing chapters have a certain charm to them in their silly awkwardness.
There's still some story ideas I want to attempt some time in the future, though like the existing stories, there's the issue of what to do about Season 4 and 5 canon. One of these ideas in particular was specifically meant as more of a Season 1 story if anything...
With three episodes to go, the last before the finale going up very shortly, I'm leaning towards waiting until this season has ended before seeing what can be done about adapting the stories to match. It's a tedious process to go back and change ideas that were planned out thoroughly before, but ultimately it's a good skill to get a grasp of.
I really need to do something with the Shadowbolts from Friendship Games...
