Always something in the way it seems...

I'm not sure why, but is seems as though something is always preventing me from writing. Whether a job suddenly pops up, I've been invited to a part, or my mood is just telling me no. It sucks, I know. There's a lot I want to write up and you'd think with being out of college for the summer I'd have tons of time. Oh well.

Lack of Updates? You Can't Explain That!

Actually I can. The past few weeks have been pretty hectic over here. Nothing bad mind you, just finding myself away from the computer more than usual. Today I learned a valuable lesson in story writing. This lesson was not in technique or refinement, but rather in the meaning behind a story. You can't just make a story because it will sound cool, you need to write it based on why you've started in the first place. I recently his a bit of writers block because I was trying to write a "cool" story rather than how it should be, with meaning. One should write a fan fiction for the love a something, not to get a bunch of views and a high rating.
