Why I hate Equestria Daily, and other announcements. · 8:00pm Aug 8th, 2012
A few days ago, I submitted Six New Alicorns to Equestriq Daily, and yesterday, I got a response:
Thank you for the submission, but due to issues with pacing, dialogue, and generally low quality of writing, we are not interested in posting this story.
Needless to say, I was upset. However, I will continue this story, no matter what EQD says about it.
Another thing is, I noticed that in my story, I have some things inspired by other, marvelous fics I've read.
The idea for the Alicorn transformation came from "Duties" Which is phenomenal. The name Ruby came from "Elements of Salvation" And the whole "Pinkie, stop being a 'do as I say not as I do' parent" thing, came from a comment on one of my favorite stories ever, called "Discord Did It". I suggest reading all of these.
The next chapter of Six New Alicorns will be up by the end of the week. Cross my heart, Hope to fly, Stick a Dashie cupcake in my eye. 
The first chapter of "Mommy and Me" will be up around the same time.

Unfortunately, I really don't have the time to go back and edit previous chapters, only future ones. Besides, if I love the way it turned out, does it really matter what everyone else thinks? (Suited for success moment) and really, I don't care if ai don't make it to EQD, because I have plenty of readers here who love it. *hugs everyone* I FRIGGIN LOVE YOU PEOPLE! AND SO DO THESE LOVELY MARES!
