Season 5, Episode 18 {(Spoilers)} · 1:23am Oct 11th, 2015

This episode.... right now I'm stuck between great episode... and what the buck were they thinking???

Right now there cutie marks seem to indicate they need to work together to help others, ala the shield look to them and how similar they are. HOWEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!! <---- can't emphasize that enough.

a LOT and i mean everything hinges on how they explore there new marks and discover what they truly mean to themselves and to others. There gona need a few episodes where the crusaders can discover what they mean individually. I read a story on this site once where they founded a group of buildings around equestria to give foals the chance to learn what there special talent was having everything from a stage to perform plays on to skate parks and etc... think YMCA with extra's.

Now disecting the cutey marks. There all shields with the same tri colors matching there manes/tails. Then there is the individual portions... Lightning bolt in a wing, Music note in a star, Heart in an apple for Scootaloo, Sweety Bell, and Applebloom respectively... There is a whole lot of interpretation for the marks left to discover.

Also is this the first episode that Applejack directly says something about their missing parents??? And the way she says it like there gone for good...

In my honest opinion, I thought they did a great job. Honestly, I wish the Diamond Tiara 180 took longer to complete, but understandable since they had like, a 22 minute long window.

The cutiemarks were utterly fascinating to me. Never has a cutiemark reaction occurred like that. Twilight's cutiemark experience might be the closest thing, but she was also having a uncontrollable magical event.

I am curious to see their future plans with this.

Also is this the first episode that Applejack directly says something about their missing parents??? And the way she says it like there gone for good...

The Apple parents were briefly touched on in the Apple Family Reunion episode, by two shooting stars. Lauren Faust said that the Apple Parents whereabouts have not been planned, and that the show is very unlikely to come out and say "they're dead!" Faust also says she wants this to be the case.

I assume she wants it to be left open to interpretation, or to be dead. With the way this episode portrayed it, it has enforced my idea that they some how had passed away.

By the way, thank you for the follow.
