Me worried about MLP's longevity! is anyone else? · 10:47pm Oct 6th, 2015
Ok, maybe its just me but I am geninly worried about Friendship is magic's longevity. As of this year the show if 5 years old, to be fair it shows no sign of stopping but still. the worst part is that if ya look back, ya really do see progress, both in the show itself and in the characters, here's some examples
Rainbow Dash no long gags and even accepts Rarity's fashion.
Fluttershy has gone from a shy, passive coward to having confidence and assertiveness, but still is kind and loving.
Pinkie pie has become less crazy over the years, for the better or worse depending on your point of view.
Rarity no long faints at the sight of dirt, has become more sisterly with Sweetie and has been humbled.
Applejack no long has that stubbornness she once had and has become quite the family mare.
Twilight Sparkle, where to start, she has come out of her shell so to speak and has learned many a lesson on friendship, but more then that she has had some "realistic moments" like recently being bored out of her mind and wanting the map to send her somewhere, or seeing her friends in Canterlot, I could go on.
The CMC, they have gone from slapstick hell to a trio of fine young mares, searching for there calling (which I dread given the would mean the show is coming to a end, maybe.)
Hell even spike has grown a little, as has Luna though not much in ither case, HELL even cadnace has had some development.
This above all else is why I dread the end of the show the characters have really grown on me, and the fanfiction that fills in or adds to said show and the comics, its just too much. Its...a addiction I suppose, I was 15 when this show started seen every episode since and still watching. I know we got season 6 and the now 4th Equestira Girls movie to look forward to, but still I and dreading the day the show ends and this season, really, really seems to be getting the hang of things.
So anyone else share my slight paranoia about the show making a premature exit long before it overstays it's welcome? (Not that it ever will in my mind.)
