Okay.
Bit of backstory on this.
I'm sitting there, watching the first five minutes of the movie, when I get to the title screen. But then, I have to leave for a violin lesson. The scenario I had come up with for what would happen next in the movie was infinitely better than what actually happened, to the point where I decided to expand it into a full idea.
In this world, human twilight doesn't go to crystal prep. She works for the government.
(This is all I came up with before watching the movie. The rest of this is what might happen afterwards. I suck at this sort of thing.)
She discovers the mysterious energy readings, leading to a government investigation of canterlot high. Discord is the president of the united states. The government talks with celestia, then the mane 6, and... You know, I have no clue where this is going. Never mind. Just use this as a story prompt or something.
