So I've pretty much given up · 1:07pm Sep 13th, 2015
Fanfic-wise anyway. Don't worry I'll still write Mal since people like his story apparently, and there's one other displaced I want to get out there, but other than those two stories, I will no longer be writing fanfiction.
"Oh but Imp" I hear you very few and almost non existent fans cry "you sometimes (maybe twice a year) write a good story, why the stopping?"
Because I hate it honestly.I hate the feeling of constriction writing a fanfiction gives me. I don't know if this happens to other people but if I'm writing for a canon character or in a canon world, heck if I so much as have a character say a single line, then I NEED it to be as accurate as possible. One way I can really put this is in any chapter I've written that occurs during an episode. Basically what ends up happening isn't a skimmed over version of events, I will look up the script for that episode and go over the episode itself multiple times just to get every detail right. Another thing, I fucking hate writing a character out of character, it just feels so wrong to me.
Also I think I have some minor fear of commitment but meh.
I may, MAY, write a short fan fic story or two over the period of a few years, and that'll be it. Because I just really hate being a perfectionist about shit but I can't help it.
So, Tl;dr, I will be continuing Mal and this one other displaced, but other than that? Expect nothing.
Rest in peace sweet prince, Imp. We will miss you.
