Now, I know that I always take about three times longer with chapters than I say I do.
Too bad.
ANYWAYS, I have about a third of chapter 2 done, and want to know if I could time-skip through about three months. Nothing interesting happens. Anyways, the next few chapters would be Opal and *CENSORED* being *CENSORED* by *CENSORED*, and subsequently *CENSORED*. *CENSORED* would *CENSORED* *CENSORED*, and *CENSORED* would *CENSORED* *CENSORED*, thus *CENSORED* *CENSORED*.
Yes, that was intentional. I would LOVE to see what you guys think would happen. Treat it like fill in the blanks.
So, but seriously? Time-skip, or no time-skip?

Well, you should do what you want, really. Just, please, make it believable, and also make it so that people can actually make sense of it. Like, no really really big changes. As long as you provide an explanation for the changes that occur, then a timeskip should be fine.

Oh, and I have a question about amphiphteres, or how you picture them, at least. I don't know if you've changed this, but I remember you describing Opal as having sharp, knife like teeth, along with venomous fangs. Does that mean that their mouth is a kind of dragon/snake hybrid?

Yeah. Think dragon teeth that excrete venom, which is basically just a liquid spell that melts the body and encapsulates the soul into a mable-ish thing.
