Hi everyone, I'm back! So things have been really busy for me over the last few months, mostly real world job related which put a load of my plans on the back-burner and meant I missed a ton of milestones. So I've got a couple of big announcements, one huge announcement and one far more modest beginning. Without further ado, let's beginning with the bragging.
This is simply staggering. Thank you so much everyone who took the time to read what was fundamentally a very silly story. I'm so thrilled that so many people liked and enjoyed it. As I'm writing this the total is actually a little higher, at nearly 11k which is another jaw dropping milestone.
I did a big celebration for 100 followers, but 200 just passed me by which is a terrible shame, maybe at 250, eh? Still, 200 people is nothing to sneeze at, while the lofty heights of this site may have their thousands of subscribers, 200 people is extremely flattering. Once again, thank you everyone who liked my work enough to subscribe and hope my next story you enjoy just as much as everything else.
This brings me onto my on next point, the official announcement of: Broken on the Wheel
With only a broken wagon, seventeen bits, and a shattered reputation to her name it seemed that the world could not grind The Great and Powerful Trixie down any further. When an old friend offered Trixie the opportunity to start again, with a heavy bag of bits to help her back on her hooves, she grudgingly accepted. All that was required was a little magical assistance; no schemes, no cursed amulets, no risk of getting banished to the moon.
They never told her the ritual was to summon The Nightmare back to Equestria. Now, as The Nightmare’s new host, all that stands between Equestria and eternal darkness is the determination of Trixie Lulamoon, a mare who already lost everything for the sake of power. In her quest to maybe save the world, and certainly save herself, Trixie will explore the depth to which power can corrupt and the lengths ponies will go to possess it. It’s that, or break on life’s wheel.
This is my next novel length piece of fan-fic and, if you haven't guessed already, a Trixie story. Trixie is my favorite minor character and I'm incredibly excited to finally get a chance to use her as a star. Broken on the Wheel is going to be a darker fic, far closer to A World Without Kindness than The Humans in Equestria Club and I'm waiting on tenterhooks to hear what people think.
I'm also looking, as I always am with these big projects, for additional pre-readers for this story. Again, I'm looking for all sorts of pre-reading, from just the general impressions type who only leave a couple of comments to people who have a burning need to fix every comma. Pre-readers are indescribably vital to take any story from the rough draft to something halfway professional and if you do help out, even for a single spelling error, I can not thank you enough. If you're interested, drop me a message and I’ll link you to the draft document.
Finally, and well done for making it this far, I'm joining the bandwagon and launching a Patreon campaign. For those of you who haven't yet encountered the site, Patreon is a fantastic way to donate what you want to support the content creators that you love. A dollar, or even just a couple of cents per 10k words makes a huge difference when added up over the breadth of a fanbase. While the page is still bare bones right now, I'm planning a monthly patreon short story and I urge to you check it out: here
Anyway, that's all for now. I look forward to seeing you all at the launch of Broken on the Wheel and until then, have a picture of Trixie being awesome.
Oh, you actually went for a patreon, huh?
Good luck with that. I've heard really good things, but not quite dared to take that particular plunge myself yet.
Glad to see that your back again. Your HiEC story is one of my favorite Human is Equestria stories. Your next story sounds interesting as Trixie is also one of my favorite characters; FIMFiction can always use another good Trixie story, but do you have plans to continue any of your other stories in the future?
3371473 Yeah, it's kind of step one on my master plan to become a profesional author, actually getting people to pay me to write We'll see how it goes, but thanks.
3371787 Well, A World Without Kindness sequel is on my to do list but has been fore a while. I don' t think HiEC is getting a sequel, it never really got the traction it needed to be a block buster and I never really built it with a sequel in mind. I think Edge of Singularity is dead, I've never figured out a way to make the grand plot work.

HIEC I'm surprised you don't see any potential in continuing. Even if Alex's story is done she was hardly the only human screwed over by Discord's prank.
Speaking of that, didn't you have some type of idea for a travelogue with a ex-human dragoness, or something like that? Did that one idea patter out, or am I just miss-remembering something else?
Sad to hear that, but was a fun ride while it lasted if that's the case.
