I got enough people following me to blog a bit. So I finally started on my next chapter of Jedi Exile. I had tremendous writers block as well as an issue in my portrail of the princesses. I didn't want to make them seem like irresponsible rulers of a nation, but at the same time they are people too. I think I found a way to take a different look on them. I am seriously trying to keep as close to mlp cannon as I can and not make up some sort of giant bigger picture world. There will, by necessity be a little bit of that, but it will be important to the story. (expect an update in the next few days [when I get around to writing it])
On the You Only Live Twice front, I am using it as a sort of dumping ground for my ideas and sill scenarios. Most might (wont) make any sense, but hey, its my guilty pleasure story. I am going to add music to the story soon as well as an interesting, and explainable(ish) use of magic. The music will be musical numbers used to silly effect. The soonest one will be Aladdin... I have the perfect idea that I stole from some bloke.
I might start a series where I will explain why I wrote chapters the way I did and my thoughts and struggles so that any aspiring writer can read my blog after an update so they can glean why I wrote a passage the way I did. This will hopefully spark discussions on how to write better stories and will help everybody improve!
