    Looking for Nightmare Moon story

    In this story a character (maybe a griffon, not sure) enters an area bordered by massive glaciers. There, he and his companions find a lost civilizaton, pony ghosts, and pony corpses with smiles carved into their faces and at the end (apparently) the arrival of Nightmare Moon. I just can't remember the title. Any help would be appreciated.

    I was reading a fiction involving the arrival of several sunk WWII warships (U.S.S. Arizona included in the title). I thought I had it marked down, but I can't find it in my files and my searches haven't found it. Can anyone steer me (:facehoof:) towards it? Thanks for any help.

Just got the latest copy of MLP:FIM comic from IDW. The Mane Six have really gone batty as Twilight uses the spell she used to turn them into Breezies, but with FlutterBAT as the model. On the cover we have a selection of Dracula outfits ranging from classic Lugosi (modeled by [non wild] FlutterBat) to a modern Punk version by Rainbow Dash (although Twilight's reminds me more of the 'Phantom of the Opera'). Rarity stands out from the crowd however in a reproduction of the sci-fi inspired 'Vampirella' outfit.
