    New ending

Hey I just wanted to let everypony know I redid the ending on My story Discord's party. Instead of a silly changeling battle there is more Discord Magic to help make sure that a Pinkie Promise kept.

Hey everyone this is first blog.
I'm a screen writer, I think and write in the script format. But this site doesn't let post here. Because I write my fan fiction in that format. When I asked why I was told this.

"It usually ends up with it being not only lazy, but poorly done. It encourages lack of effort and people start sending IM-like "stories" with little to no actual story in it, limiting it to basically conversations."

I had nothing gory, porngraphic, or anything bad like that. And the rule is just a opinion of the moderators, not a legal problem nor any other.

And my question is why. People can be lazy with any writing style. Why is mine singled out as some kind of evil. I just want to write and contribute to the fandom. I thought bronys were a welcoming fandom, but this was a shock. I am just wondering with who agrees this rule. Or who might want this rule changed so we can have the freedom to write how we want to write. It's seems to me this rule just makes more trouble to go out of their way to forbid something that causes no harm. I write a bad fic that gets no views, that's fine. That's feedback I could use. But not being able to post is just death to me. And I did try to re format it for them, and they still rejected it. So I am not sure what to do.

Here is a sample.
INT. FLUTTER SHY'S HOUSE - DAY
Pinky hops about Flutter Shy's living room. Flutter Shy has her bags out and her animals helping her pack.
PINKY PIE
So what's you doing?
FLUTTER SHY
I am getting ready for my trip to the ocean to study the sea ponies.
PINKY PIE
Wow neat! But wait who will look after your animals while your gone? Can I do it?
FLUTTER SHY
Oh that's okay, I found somebody already for that.
Pinky looks over and sees Big Mac with his side-saddle bags walking in.
BIG MAC
Yep.
PINKY PIE
But I didn't even know-
FLUTTER SHY
Well it's just that Big Mac is more serous pony then most and will take care of Angel and the rest just fine.

Let me know what you think. Is there room for other kinds of fan fiction? Or must there be only one way to write?

The site's mods say so, that's why. If you don't like it, bugger off to somewhere that'll let you post your crappy script format.

Here, let me explain:

It is very hard to understand, and is sort of amatuerish. It prevents readers from getting inside the character's head.

Here is a small example of how different it could be.

With script format:

Fluttershy: What are you doing here, Discord?

Discord: Nothing.

Fluttershy: Oh. Are you sure?

Discord: No.

Without script format:

Fluttershy came over to the draconequus, her hooves sweating. The draconequus turned around, looking at Fluttershy curiously. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Nothing!" Discord turned around nervously. He stood outside her house, one of his eyes twitching ever-so-slightly. He had his hands behind his back, and Fluttershy raised an eyebrow with a small smile.

"Oh, are you sure?" she giggled, as Discord looked at her, snapping his fingers behind his back and making the creature he held disappear as he held up his hands.

"No." Discord winked, giggling as, inside the house, Angel Bunny fell on the ground with a thud.

There are good and bad script fics, just like prose. The script format can actually be more difficult. You have to be able to tell a story without narrative, relying solely on dialogue and action. I see nothing wrong with it, but rules are rules.
