Dramatic reading of Tears of a Goddess and possible sequel. · 3:33am Aug 1st, 2012

I was just browsing around last night and happened to stumble upon this: [DRAMATIC READ] Ep3 Tears of a Goddess by TheCrazyRabbidFanGirl

It's not exactly MicTheMic quality and he occasionally mispronounces/misreads/misconstrues words/sentences, but just the fact that it's out there is pretty cool to me.

Also, due to the amount of comments asking for a sequel to Tears of a Goddess I have been seriously considering doing it. I've come up with a pretty solid idea that I hope will live up to the original, or at the very least answer all the "what happened to Luna?!" questions. If it happens, it'll be a little bit, due to the fact that I'm working on two different chaptered stories (Skyward and a soon-to-be-released one) and a one-shot, and then I have a couple other projects lined up after them. But, if I like what I write up for the potential sequel enough it'll definitely happen.

Look forward to it!

How WILL you make a sequel though? Celestia's dead. :fluttercry: Well, unless it will focus all on Luna now.

Unless you know you can make live up to the original, it might be unwise to make a sequel that will only fall short. Just my 2 cents.

That's how I feel. I hate it when people milk their IPs via crappy sequels, so I never write sequels unless an idea I like comes to me. I also never allow fan pressure to force me to make a sequel. The only way I'll write/publish it is if I feel it's good enough.

Wait, Celestia croaked at the end of Tears of a Goddess?? I read it, (and loved it) but it's been awhile, and I'd forgotten the ending. Oops:twilightblush:

Well, while you always want to be careful with sequels, the whole Celestia-is-dead thing isn't that much of a road block. After all, no one's ever really dead in fiction, are they? Though I always enjoy reading about Luna...ugh why is there no Luna emoticon here?? That needs fixing.

I'm not really convinced about the idea of ToaG sequel, but well, if you think you can pull it off, I'll be the first one to read it. :duck:
