Daring Do and the Red Shoe Diary

For years, since nearly the start of the series' rise to international fame, the rumors have persisted: Was there an adult-oriented Daring Do story? Has our intrepid explorer gone down paths far more sordid and saucy than her audience could have imagined?

New Red Shoes Chapter is Live!

After far too long of a hiatus, Red Shoes is officially back with a new chapter!

This time, we'll be hearing from the co-owner of Sugarcube Corner, who has a saucy but sympathetic tale to tell.

I hope you enjoy, and let me know in the comments. Cheers, all!

    Red Shoe Diaries: The Return

    *blows the dust off*

Yikes. I let this sit for way, WAY too long. As I'm typing this I'm realizing it's been 4 years, since this story last updated. That's horrendous, and also entirely my fault. True, lots of life has happened to me, and then there's the world going mad besides. But still, I should NOT have let this story lapse like this. For that, readers, you have my apologies.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Been with family most of the day, but wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

This has admittedly been a crappy year for me, but I AM very thankful for all of you. Your support means the world, and I'm glad y'all are here.

In the comments, let me know what your fave Turkey Day desserts are!

New Story + EQD = Double the Awesome · 4:35am Aug 15th, 2015

My corner of Fimfic has been fairly quiet recently, but fear not, friends, for I have not been sitting idle! A handful of projects have been brewing in the kitchen over here, and tonight, the first dish is ready to be served!

I am proud to present to you all my latest story:

Untold luxury and wealth. A place in high society. A life full of the finer things. All this and more await Fleur de Lis, but at what cost?

Now, Fleur must decide: Is love worth nothing, or is it a secret worthy of sacrifice? Can she be the mare she is and the mare she has to be?

A cipher, after all, can be anything— Or nothing at all.

I cannot thank Xepher, Winston, Noble Thought, and Jade Ring enough for their time and efforts as editors and pre-readers. Their advice, ideas, and edits really pushed me to try new ideas and refine my grasp on a number of grammar/style items, and I think the story benefitted greatly from all of it. Thank you all so very much. :)

Now, if you're wondering why this hasn't been published yet, that's because I decided to roll the dice and submit this to EQD first. Well, prepare for a doubling of the fun, because the final EQD approval just arrived tonight! No firm posting date, but best guess puts me somewhere early next week for it to appear on the site. I'll be trying to roughly time my submission to Fimfic to catch the wave from EQD in the hopes of somehow nabbing a spot on the feature box. (or at least maximize the exposure)

In the meantime, please feel free to get an early look at the story and let me know what you think! :)

Thank you all for your continued support. It means a lot to me, and I can't thank you all enough.

Cheers!
