As some of you may know, I recently joined the group Ponies After People.
On that note, I already have nine chapters of my story for it written, and ready for publishing.
In the meantime, while I wait for the opportune moment to submit the story, I have begun work on this.
That is the first concept for the cover of the book, and also the very first thing I've drawn in a very, very long time that isn't a 3D model. I was very....emotional after I made it. I'm proud of it.
Anyway, the story is named Starlight after it's main character, Starlight Waltz. After waking up in June, on her birthday, as a large Pegasus, she journeys around, trying to find other ponies, and using her inborn ability to learn quickly to....learn quickly, as she'd been able to as a human boy.
Eventually, she travels to Winnipeg from her small home town and commandeers a steam train. The rest has not been written, but so far, I think it's shaping up to be one of the best stories I've ever written.
